The Bellflower-Somerset Mutual Water Company is led by a 5-member Board of Directors elected by the stockholders of the Company in the City of Bellflower. All policy making decisions are approved by the Board. Meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at 10016 Flower Street Bellflower, California.
Qualification Of Directors:
Each director must be a stockholder, holding at least one share of the capital stock in his or her name on the books of the corporation stockholders.
Election Of Directors
The directors shall be elected annually, by ballot, and shall serve for a period of one year and until their successor are elected and qualified. Their terms of office shall commence immediately after their election. The five (5) persons receiving the highest number of votes by the stockholders shall be deemed elected at such meeting.
